This Bicentennial celebration concert opens with the much-loved string quartet by Antonin Dvorak, “The American”.
Following the Dvorak is a set of songs by Richard Conti and Maddie Sifantus for accordion and soprano,
including Il Bacio (the kiss), Guitarra Romana and Old Mother Hubbard.
Ending the program is a song set from the New England Tenors
with violin, piano and percussion, featuring a set of their inspirational songs,
such as You Raise Me Up, Come What May and Impossible Dream.
